Hello! My name is Emmeline, but I usually go by Pollution or pltn online. I'm a STEM student in her twenties based in Arizona with a hobby for writing and drawing, among other things!

Most prominently, I'm a visual novel producer, Kemono Friends fanartist, and amateur oneirologist. Throughout this site, you can find links to some of my SNS profiles, some of my dream diary and art archives from the past couple years, and links to some games I've worked on. It's a work in progress, but I hope you find it enjoyable to scrounge around.

I take inspiration and base my artstyle on a mix between the work of Akio Watanabe (Monogatari) and Shigenori Soejima (Persona). My favorite aspect about each of these artists is their usage of darker undertones, as well as how they draw eyelashes. Literarily, I'm inspired by authors like Keiichi Shigusawa (Kino's Journey) and Fyodor Dostoevsky (Demons). I admire their themes of adventure and philosophy.

Besides art and writing, my main hobbies are reading visual novels, watching movies, and playing puzzle games. The two visual novels that I have the fondest memories for would probably be Little Busters and Kara no Shoujo. I read both of them in small groups and early on when I was getting into the medium, and I can't forget their influence on me. For movies, I generally like to watch sad drama films like Mysterious Skin, and especially All About Lily Chou-Chou. I'm a pretty big fan of the Korean musician Parannoul, who also takes heavy inspirations from the latter! The puzzle games I enjoy the most are Tetris, and if you'll consider it, taking typing tests. Sometimes I like to call myself the fastest Dvorak typist in Arizona, just because nobody has come to prove me wrong yet for something so obscure (~200WPM).

This site was programmed pretty much entirely by @lettherigh74324 on Twitter! Thank you so much.

I'm really grateful for all of the support and encouragement I've received over SNS for my work. While I'm not a very social person, and get overwhelmed easily, I hope you guys know it means a lot to me. New work is currently in progress, so I hope you'll stick around. If you'd like to contact me for any reason, business or otherwise, you can DM me on any of my SNS pages! Don't worry, I probably won't bite.

Anywho, please enjoy yourself!
