A lucid dream sparks. I exit my home and turn the corner to find Serval sitting in her car. Her fidelity was amazing. She spots me, opens the door, and stands. She spreads her arms as I run towards her and jump into her chest, wrapping my arms and legs around her body, her mine. She hugs me tight as I bury my face into her hair. I begin to rub my fingertips over the skin of her matte face, moving my fingers into her mouth to caress her teeth, gums, and tongue. It's all so smooth. I wake up. "What was the first battle in existence? I'll give you a hint: the two sides had the same strengths and weaknesses." The first of the four rings in. "Cain and Abel." "And you?" His gaze directs towards mine. "I say the same." The other two remain silent. The speaker then addresses the crowd. "I'm sorry, but the answer was Adam and himself, or more broadly speaking, Man and Himself." Immediately, those who answered incorrectly are restrained and taken to a poolside. Around my ankles, heavy weights of lead are attached by chain, and I am sunk into the water. Before my lungs can asphyxiate, I break free from the poorly held cables and swim to the surface, escaping through a window and jumping from the cliffside structure into the ocean. I land hard on the waves before making it to the beach and running off. Slept 16 hours or so. I really needed that. My sickness was getting worse and worse. I need to sleep more frankly. I shouldn't push myself so hard. I need food.
