I was unsatisfied with my job, so I got a new one at the car wash. Funnily enough, they lend books here too, and Sam, my old coworker worked here part-time. I took my photo for my badge, and I had books leaning all over me. We worked in a large warehouse shaped room with an engine held up by the ceiling, an ice chest the size of a dumpster, and various other objects and containers. It began to rain when the older girl working with me passed me some foam balls and said if I don't know what to do with these then I can just die. I stood there not knowing what to do with them, but Sam came out and started using them to cover some of the tank lids. Rain began to pour in from the ceiling, and we gathered in the rafters. A yellow liquid leaked out from the tanks as they explained that one of the substances in the chemical soap formula went through foam or was lighter. The room filled with it, this was why everything else was on stilts. I had another job with my neighbor. We haven't really talked much in forever. Maybe it's just been since high school. We're too different of people now. I don't think it would work out. I hear him playing drums across the neighborhood sometimes still. In the dream we were both bartenders and interacted with customers in a very personal manner, playing games or sharing conversation. I want to quit my job. I'm really not enjoying it, but I don't have much else either. I'll be alone again when I do and begin school. What should have been the only friends I had in this city refuse to meet with me out of lack of trust. It's understandable, but it hurts. I just want to go to a movie theater or a restaurant with someone I'm friendly with every once in a while. Maybe I should pick up smoking. My body aches. I need food and water. I dreamed about making a film for a production company. The movie opens up on a truck pulling into the back of a building's gate, security cameras with red lights on their side and tracking it. Once it pulls in, out from the passenger's seat comes a boy who escorts from the trunk a bear by a collar. When the two enter the building, it's revealed to be a tall and elegant Victorian-style estate. The two find a small and enclosed dining hall at one end of the building to keep the bear. In another corner of the structure, a girl wakes from her bed at the knocking of her door. She opens it to find the boy who informs her of the arrival. The girl takes hands with the boy and they dance down the wall-less spiral staircase surrounded by open windows peaking into the forested and rivered wilderness before reaching a pool at the bottom where the building is flooding in. They kiss. Movie ends. The producer wades through the water on the set and thanks the actors for their performance, as the full movie was a single 20-minute shot.
